Diagnosed with cancer in April 2002, Taylor Green recalls her initial fear, shock and disbelief. Working with the medical community and in conjunction with her ever expanding spiritual awareness, she was able to complete her emotional homework as well as “walk through her cancer”.
Her message: “Don’t give up; use it as an opportunity for growth and healing. For me cancer was a powerful catalyst for growth and change. It is not a teacher I would have chosen, yet it presented me with so many gifts. Through cancer I received life lessons that have made my living so much richer. Strangely, dealing with the idea of death and the unknown brought me closer to life.
Metaphysique offers small, intimate classes that inform and support those going through cancer. You might feel overwhelmed dealing with the medical establishment, well meaning friends and family demands. We incorporate Bach Flower therapy, QXI quantum bio-feedback therapy, holistic energy therapy, sound therapy, hypnosis, self-hypnosis training, group therapy, creative visualization/affirmation/meditation therapy and coaching.
Among the topics to be covered; Stress reduction,Self image, Self care, Spiritual meaning/support, Mind/body/spirit connection, Reframing your story, Journaling.
Classes will be facilitated by Taylor Green, Life Coach/Psychotherapist, Motivational/Inspirational Speaker and Linda Marvin, Life Coach, Spiritual Psychotherapist, Spiritual Director. From time to time we will feature guest speakers, covering a range of relevant topics.
